Rob Fennell is a Canadian theologian, educator, writer, and ordained minister located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. For 2017-20 he is Academic Dean of Atlantic School of Theology. He is chair of the editorial board of Touchstone, a theological journal.

Rob's teaching philosophy: "My task as a teacher is to grow in knowledge and wisdom about my subject, and by making myself vulnerable to what I learn and to those I teach, to allow the engagement with both to continue to transform my own understanding. I seek first to encourage students to grow intellectually and personally by means of sharing what I have learned, and by directing their studies toward fruitful research of their own, so that our learning can become a shared joy; and second, to accompany students so that they may grow as persons and leaders."
